Job Description

Our Client is in the Transport & Travel sector and has recently been awarded a large Contract to consolidate transport and travel services in Cyprus. The organization will have between 800-900 employees and will operate across Cyprus. They are currently looking to recruit an IT Manger, who will ensure continuous availability at optimal performance and improvement of IT infrastructure.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Management of IT team
  • Project Management
  • Supplier Management
  • IT procurement
  • Ensure high level of overall IT performance, security, standards and procedures
  • Review adequacy and allocate IT resources (funding, personnel, equipment, service levels)
  • Hierarchically subordinate to IT Director and General Manager
  • External contact with external business partners and end-users
Candidate Profile
  • 4 years’ experience in information technology management
  • Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong Problem Solving and Communication skills
  • Time Management skills
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Adaptable to changing technologies and requirements
  • Negotiation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Prince2, PMP or similar Project Management training or certification
  • ITIL or similar Service Management training or certification
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Active directory administration
